Growing Together

Growing Together is a collaboration between the Fox C-6 School District's ELL Program and Jefferson College.  The program is designed to help student tutors and the students they work with develop positive associations with many instructional approaches that are used to attain English language proficiency. The collaboration  helps build foundations that will promote language acquisition while increasing diversity awareness.  Growing Together facilitates collaboration in a non-threatening environment that promotes pride in personal heritage.  There are eight schools participating in this program.  They are Rockport Heights Elementary, Hodge Elementary, Clyde Hamrick Elementary, Guffey Elementary, Fox Elementary, Meramec Heights Elementary, Fox High School and Ridgewood Middle School.
