Spring Parent Summit

PARENT INVOLVEMENT = STUDENT SUCCESS

On March 29, 2017, the Fox C-6 School District will host a Parent Summit to address topics that are relevant to student education and community growth. It is clear that increased parent involvement leads to greater student success and we hope this summit will be another opportunity for our parents to learn, engage, and collaborate with their peers as well as educators. As a district, our goal is to ensure all students graduate as experts in something they love to do, and our parents play a pivotal role in ensuring that reality comes true for all students.

PARENT SUMMIT
March 29, 2017
6:00 - 8:30 PM
Fox Campus (Program begins at Rickman Auditorium)

Last year, we welcomed nearly 300 community members to sit down with administrators and provide feedback on our Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP). The year-long process of building a plan based on what our parents, staff, and community members value has given us a clear direction for the future. You can learn more about the CSIP process and goals by visiting the Fox Focus portion of the website.

One of the strategies that was outlined in the CSIP is related to working more closely with parents so they can take a more active role within our educational community. The Spring Parent Summit will provide parents an opportunity to learn about topics that are important to them and will connect parents with different educators and involvement opportunities throughout the district.

Information about sessions and reservations will be available soon!
