The month's activities wrapped up this week when all of Ridgewood's bus drivers attended a meet and greet event with students who ride their busses.  The event was planned and organized by Ridgewood's Character Council, a class that focuses on building leadership skills.  During the meet and greet, students had a chance to get to know their bus drivers and ask them questions to get to know the drivers and their jobs better.

Ms. Jaime LaVanchy, Ridgewood Middle School principal, described the event as one of "the most amazing character education activities I have ever been a part of."  Ms. Lavanchy explained that the meet and greet gave students an opportunity to develop a relationship with their bus drivers that will have a positive impact everyone's experience on the school bus.
